General Investment Trust DAC (GIT) was established in 1953 and is one of the longest established professional trustee companies in Ireland. It is a subsidiary company of New Ireland Assurance Company plc.

General Investment Trust DAC (GIT) is the trustee of the Navigator Master Trust. The Navigator Master Trust is a Defined Contribution (DC) pension scheme created for multiple non-associated employers to participate under a single trust arrangement.
