General Investment Trust is trustee to Navigator Master Trust, which is a pension scheme established by New Ireland Assurance Company plc to provide excellence in pension scheme governance, addressing the high standards set by IORP II legislation. Navigator Master Trust is available to specific types of pension schemes established by employers through a master trust.

General Investment Trust was established in 1953 and is one of the longest established professional trustee companies in Ireland. It is a subsidiary company of New Ireland Assurance Company plc.
